Description
When we needed a rear bag for our own long-range shooting, we leveraged off our personal experience, our innovative textile understanding, and the feedback received from NZ benchmark shooters to produce a true go-to rear bag.
We wanted something small and functional that would allow maximum articulation of the rifle to bring you onto your target, and once steady, to remain in place during the release of the shot and follow-through.
We tested extensively to find the best media that would meet our strict requirements for the correct density and desired manipulation, as well as prevent absorbing moisture.
After some practical testing, we added a non-slip bottom for even more stabilisation when shooting in unconventional positions. The result was exactly what we had envisaged. A rear bag that increases stability and provides more accurate shot placement. As an added bonus, it is just as effective as a front rest.
What Bag to choose?
Rear-Standard is ideal when weight isn't a factor and you need the weight of the bag to provide additional stability.
Rear-Lite is a great alternative for hunters or shooters trying to reduce weight but still requiring a bag that is capable of giving them micro-adjustments.
